Hifz

Hifz (Memorization)

Memorization that lasts — built on a daily plan and revision your child can keep up with.

Who it's for

Children who read the Mushaf fluently and are ready for a regular daily commitment, at whatever pace suits them.

How it's taught

  • A written plan agreed with you before we begin
  • Every lesson: new portion, recent revision, then old revision
  • Realistic targets — a smaller daily portion that holds beats a large one that fades
  • Monthly reports showing exactly what is memorized and what is being revised

What your child will learn

  • Memorize the short surahs of Juz 30 securely
  • Follow a daily sabaq (new memorization) target set to your child's pace
  • Keep sabqi (recent revision) strong so nothing slips
  • Hold manzil (old revision) over the long term
  • Reach agreed milestones — a juz, five juz, and onwards

Questions about this course

How much will my child memorize each day?

That depends on their age and schedule. We agree a realistic target with you first — usually a few lines a day to begin with.

What if my child forgets earlier portions?

That is normal, and it is exactly what the revision cycle is for. Revision is part of every single lesson, not an afterthought.
